aBOUT wILDCROFT dAIRY
Wildcroft Dairy is run by husband and wife team, Graham and Tracey Longhurst. We started Wildcroft Rarebreeds back in 2009 and whilst this arm of the business has been running for over 10 years, the dairy is a venture borne from the Covid 19 pandemic, when Tracey was made redundant from her role as Chief Exec of the Surrey County Agricultural Society.
Having kept the goats but not had kids from them for a couple of years due to the day job, the most obvious thing to do was to put them all back into kid, increase the population of English Goats and, in the process, produce a surplus of gorgeous raw goats’ milk.
Whilst looking into this option, we looked at what people actually wanted to buy and, thankfully for us, the rise in interest in raw (unpasteurised) goats’ milk, Kefir and goats’ cheese and goats’ milk soap led us down the path of setting up the Dairy.
