Raw Goats Milk - Unpasteurised goats milk surrey
We here, at Wildcroft Dairy, produce fresh Raw goats milk which means it has not been subject to pasteurisation; the flash-heating process that destroys both the good and bad bacteria and enzymes which occur naturally in milk
When pasteurisation was first introduced all that mattered was the removal of the bad bacteria, however with the current high standards of hygiene required to produce raw milk, the focus has changed. It is now widely thought that pasteurisation changes the make up of milk by drastically reducing its health giving properties:-
- The enzymes that help the body digest components such as calcium are killed off.
- The beneficial bacteria which help the body reject allergies are removed.
- Natural Vitamin C is reduced by about 50% and other vitamins up to 80%.
- The amino acids that make milk proteins usable by the body are damaged.
Fresh raw milk produced hygienically poses no risk to health and has long been proven to aid many health problems such as eczema, asthma and arthritis.
Goats milk in particular, could be said to be naturally homogenised as the fat molecules are five times smaller than those in cow’s milk, making it easier to digest. This is particularly noticeable for those with lactose intolerance and allergy to cows milk.
Our consistently high standards of dairy hygiene and animal husbandry mean that our raw milk is always safe to drink; and to ensure that our exemplary standards are maintained our milk is tested by an independent laboratory every two weeks for safety.
Each and every bottle of this delicious milk is conscientiously filled and labelled by hand, bringing you a unique product.
