Puttenham Oak is based on our fresh, versatile Frowsbury Hill cheese with its lovely subtle goaty aftertaste. Made from our delicious raw goats milk, we use our Kefir as a starter culture ensuring all the goodness and tangy flavour runs through the cheese beautifully; we then use kid rennet to give a little more tang and to keep the cheese as natural as possible.
The twist in the tale is the French feel we’ve given it by adding garlic and herbs. This makes it a lovely cheese for crackers, or try adding it to a steaming hot baked potato … yummmm
